Welcome to the Connecticut Young Republicans

The Connecticut Young Republicans (CTYR) is a volunteer group focusing on participation in the political process.

CTYR provides an opportunity for young people interested in government, politics, and political policy to learn about themselves as voters and involve themselves as citizens who communicate the concerns of our generation to our legislators and political leaders.

Participation in CTYR allows members to develop political knowledge and skill and to engage in today's debates with today's leaders, and the leaders of tomorrow.

Some typical CTYR events include meet and greets with candidates, speaker forums, working on campaigns, registering new republicans, monthly social events, and community outreach.

A Message from The Chairman

Dear Fellow Young Republicans:

I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Connecticut Young Republicans Web Site. As State Chairman, it brings me great pleasure to learn of your interest in our organization.

It is extremely important that all YR's work very closely with other Republican organizations, such as your Local Town Committees, the Connecticut Republican Party, and the Republican National Committee. Our works should provide an opportunity for young people interested in government, politics, and political policy to learn about themselves as voters and involve themselves as community activists.

This is going to be an exciting year for CTYR. There are a number of local races on the balance and we're poised to play the key roll. I ask you to volunteer and register as many new voters as possible.
